Fire Alarm Service Manager

Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Manager to join their Kelowna, BC team!

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing all branch administrative personnel, service sales staff, and field technicians. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring maximum efficiency in scheduling, managing, and work performed by all service technicians
  • Promoting every phase of the Troy Service operation to all customer contacts
  • Keeping current in the area of product features, legislation, and regulations concerning service requirements
  • Developing service billings, service expense and service gross margin forecasts 
  • Responsible for the preparation of business reports for the service department, as required by the manager
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures as well as legislative regulations/requirements of operations staff
  • Oversee all health & Safety and ensure that all training requirements have been met
  • Maintain and manage branch budget 
  • Performance and development management of direct reports
  • Other supervisory and operations tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Post secondary education in business or fire protection detection
  • 8 - 10 years' experience in Fire Alarm System Industry ideal 
  • Service management experience in a technical field
  • Knowledge of applicable codes and requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, fostering a positive work environment
  • Strong financial, operational, and staff management skills
