Fire Alarm Relay 6554 Series

In the event of an ‘Alarm’ condition, the Edwards 6554 Series Fire Alarm Relay allows immediate start-up or shutdown of ventilating fans or other remote building equipment.

There are two models available. The 6554 Fire Alarm Relay is the 24VDC model and the 6554-1 Fire Alarm Relay is a 120VAC model. Both devices have two Normally Open and two Normally Closed contacts. The contacts in each are rated 5 amps resistive or 3 amps inductive at 120VAC or 30VDC. These relays are complete with a 2-gang stainless steel faceplate with black French/English bilingual markings.

The relay will flush mount to any 2-1/2" (64mm) deep standard North American 2-gang electrical box or surface mount to any one of several EST 27193 series factory finished 2-gang backboxes. These backboxes are available in a variety of factory colours.
